Dwarven Silk
The clothiers of Tumunzim are among the most talented in the empire, and are the only ones capable of weaving adamantium into their fabric. The resulting material is known as dwarven silk, and is extremely resistant to cutting and tearing. Clothing and armor made from the material is valued highly by travelers and nobles alike, and is worth its weight in gold.
Dwarven silk is still a fairly recent invention, and its use is not yet widespread. As a result, such garments are a rare and highly valuable commodity that only the most wealthy can afford. Even in the wealthiest circles, owning a single garment of dwarven silk is a mark of high prestige.

Properties
Material Characteristics
Though the fabric can be made with any color thread, the adamantium thread will always show through, giving the cloth a silvery sheen under the light. It is usually smoother than silk to the touch, though textured fabrics are also common.
Physical & Chemical Properties
The material itself is very light, though clothing is often made with multiple overlapping layers. It is also highly durable, experiencing almost no damage from daily wear, and is difficult to pierce or cut. Magically enhanced blades seem to have no trouble, however, and dwarven tailors make frequent use of mithral scissors when cutting the cloth to size.
Origin & Source
Dwarven silk, as the name would suggest, is an exclusive product of the dwarven city of Tumunzim. Only the weavers there know the secret to its creation, and they hold it more precious than their lives.
