Fate Weavers
The Fate Weavers are the devout worshipers of the goddess Heorteblostma, the Brymtuscan goddess of life, fertility and prophecy. As their name implies, the Fate Weavers preoccupy their services with divining the fates of those living in the world, often serving as prophetic advisors to leaders. Many Weavers are also healers that often volunteer their services in hospitals and hospices.
Tenets of Faith
Entrust oneself to fate. All of fate has been weaved, do not escape it for all that happens is for the best.
Life is sacred. Hold life dear to your heart, and shed not its blood unnecessarily.
Nurture life's seed. Help other to continue living and nurture life whenever possible.
Priesthood
There are two primary roles in the priesthood of the Fate Weavers: Nurturers and Weavers.
Nurturer
The world is always in need of caretakers and healers. Most members of the Fate Weaver clergy hold the respected mantle of Nurturers, responsible for caring for the downtrodden and wounded, caring for children who have either lost their families or whose families cannot afford the time to raise their kids themselves, as well as maintaining temple and shrine grounds and holding public religious services. Most Nurturers start out cleaning and caring for holy sites while a Fate Weaver instructs them in the healing arts, both mundane and magical. Once a Nurturer has sufficiently learned methods of healing, they are tested on their mastery. Should they pass the test, they are allowed to serve in any of the Flowery Hospices that can be found in the lands of Byrmtusc.Weaver
While the Nurturers are the most numerous of the devotees of Heorteblostma's servants, the most influential are the Weavers, after whom the Fate Weavers earn their names. After serving as a groundkeeper of a temple or shrine, some acolytes will be chosen to undertake the training of a Weaver, rather than a Nurturer. Typically, the few selected for this role are personally chosen by the temple's administrator, a Weaver themselves, who has divined the chosen's fate and found it fitting for the role of Weaver. The temple's Weaver then trains the acolyte first in the art of weaving. Once the acolyte is skilled enough in the art, their instructor then teaches them how to infuse divination magic into the act of weaving. Once they are mastered this, the acolyte becomes a true Weaver. They use their services to reveal the fates of those seeking this knowledge. People from all walks in life can ask for a Weaver to create a tapastry of their fate, whether they be peasants toiling in the fields, merchants about to start a new business venture, or even nobles and kings seeking advice on decisions they must make.Weave the tapastry of life
