Godhunters
Worshipers of Heortescrín , the god of death, funerals, and judgment, and twin brother of the goddess of life, Heorteblostma . The Godhunters primarily concern themselves with destroying the undead and returning their souls to the cycle of reincarnation. The order are so named because they also hunt down and kill anyone who attempts to achieve godhood through means that unbind themselves from the cycle of reincarnation, such as liches.

Ethics
Death is inevitable
All things that live will die, this is the natural cycle of the world. Godhunters, as worshipers of Heortescrín, protect the sanctity of the cycle of lives by acting side-by-side with the Fate Weavers as healers. Although Heortescrín is a god of death, the Godhunters do not believe it just to end life unnecessarily, reserving such acts for those who trample over life. While his twin is a pacifist, Heortescrín is not so merciful.Respect the rites of the dead
When a creature dies, it's soul is to enter the cycle of reincarnation. Godhunters often act as shepherds for the souls of the dead, guiding them to the river of stars to be brought into their next life, and it is for this reason that they are also known as the Soul Guides by common folk. Many members of Heortescrín's faith are responsible for carrying out funerary rites and burying the dead, as well as acting as grave keepers. They punish those who commit grave robbing and other acts that desecrate the dead, believing that the dead deserve to be treated with the same respect as the living.Bring judgment to undeath
The undead have escape the cycle of life and death and must be brought back into it. Their fight against the world's undead is what gave the Godhunters their name. Long ago, a lich sought to attain apotheosis through the desecration of the cycle of reincarnation, and as a response Heortescrín bade his followers to destroy the lich. After a long fight, Heortescrín's worshipers won, destroying the lich and offering up its soul to their god for judgment. The lich's soul was put back into the Cycle, though no one knows what form the lich took in its next life except for Heortescrín himself.Priesthood
Soul Guide
Soul Guides act as shepherds for the souls of the dead, ushering them into their next life. The Guides are the members of the Godhunters that most people have a chance of interacting with, for they act as the grave keepers and morticians of Brymtusc, as well as acting as healers. They also tend to the temples and shrines that are dedicated to the worship of Heortescrín.Hunter
Hunters make up the militant branch of the order, fighting back the undead. They spend a great deal of time investigating rumors of undead throughout the Brymtuscan continent. When a village suspects that a necromancer has aided the dead in escaping from the Cycle, they will petition the Hunters to come and deal with the menace. Hunters will destroy the undead indiscriminately, and capture necromancers to be judged at the shrines and temples of Heortescrín.Godslayer
The Godslayers are the most veteran of the Hunters, acting as leaders of the Godhunter organization. Slayers lead regional branches of the order, sending teams out when reports of undead and necromancy reach them. While many Godslayers often bemoan their more administrative role in the organization, none can dismiss their prowess in effectively dealing with those who escape death. When a lich appears, it is the Godslayers who deal with it, as most hunters are not experienced enough to deal with such a threat.Shepherd the lost so that they might return to the Cycle.
