History

On the 21st of June, 766 PS, a hobgoblin entered the town during its celebration of the winter Faewater Solstice Festival. Shortly after enter the town's great hall, the hobgoblin cast a fireball in the center of the building, starting a fire that spread to the nearby buildings. This act signaled a goblinoid attack on the village that left it in ruins. Several dozen villagers managed to escape the carnage, fleeing north to Kinsleigh or south along the Friþ River toward Lakemouth.
The Earl of Kinsleigh sent a rescue team to the ruins in the weeks following the attack, but the small recovery team found few survivors.
