Medusa

Medusae were once humanoids from noble or royal lineages who have been cursed by the goddess of royalty and rebirth, Dharif-Alhaya , for transgressing the tenets of her faith. The curse transforms the afflicted over the course of a few weeks in their current snake-haired form. Medusae are cast out and hunted by the people of Shoenonh , and survivors will often escape from their sand-covered homeland. Some Medusae have escaped to the continent of Brymtusc, where they are treated with wary curiosity; though members of the Cunning Pack are aware of the divine curse placed upon them.
