Dwarves of Tara'Ghrad

Not much is known about the Dwarves of Tara'Ghrad or the dwarves in general. Their mystery hidden away in earth among the horizon of mountains to the north, the few times they emerge from the ground are through ancient runic henges that teleport these emissary and envoys to insure the secrecy and protection of their nation.   What is known is their society values tradition and purpose above all else. Tara'Ghrad society is broken into two castes. Those who can cast magic, called Orthvik or Carvers, and those who cannot, called Avjurs or clean-skins. Those who show promise are given arcane runes etched onto their skin describing their heritage and family business.  

Worship

    Dwarves and gnomes of the realms generally do no worship the High Pantheon, but instead worship the Old Makers or the Malth'Jarrik, The original ancestral races who would would shape and carve out future dwarves and gnomes from Maker Marble.   Ancestor of Craft, Molbrut   Ancestor of War, Orzra   Ancestor of Hunting, Drav   Ancestor of Judgement, lhurdaum  

SubRace Options

 

Orthvik

prerequisite the ability to cast a 1st level spell. Almost never a warlock.   Ability Score Increase - Your Intelligence score increases by 1.   Molbrut Teachings - You know the prestidigitation Cantrip. When you reach 3rd level you can cast Identify once per long rest.  

Avjurs

Prerequisite you are a class that cannot cast magic or have selected the warlock class.   Ability Score Increase - Your Strength increases by 2.   Drav Endurance - You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
