Blackstaff

The Blackstaff is the title and name given to the archmage of Waterdeep and the leader of the Blackstaves, an organization dedicated to protecting Waterdeep from magical and arcane threats.
Each Blackstaff is based out of Waterdeep's Blackstaff Tower, which the archmage can manipulate according to their will. In addition, the spirit of every former Blackstaff resides within the tower and can offer advise to the current one.
