Dipper

Dipper was the name given by Arcus Miursa to the immortal pink toad that followed him everywhere he went while he was under the effects of a curse by the hag Zilly Redwood.
Unbeknownst to Arcus for most of Dipper's existence was that the toad was a spy for Zilly, relaying information back to its hag creator in order to keep Arcus under her sway by preventing him from "finding his voice," metaphorically or literally. Dipper also could be used by Zilly to relay information to others, such as when she used the toad to speak with the hag Red Ruth.
In 1497, Dipper was permenately destroyed after it was given massive strength by Zilly Redwood, who had made a desparate deal with the devil Gargauth to try and save herself from Arcus' wrath. She failed, and was killed shortly after Dipper was.

Special abilities

Dipper was supernaturally attached to Arcus during its existence, always able to find its way back to him, no matter the distance between them. Whenever Dipper was killed, it would disappear in a puff of pink smoke and would show up again on or around Arcus within 24 hours.
As a souless tool, Dipper had no need to eat, sleep, or drink, and was indifferent to any attempts to communicate with it, as the elven druid Kinsey Eridanus, who was smitten with the toad, sadly found out.
