Nymmurh

Nymmurh (a.k.a. The Wyrm Who Watches)

Nymmurh is an ancient bronze dragon that served on the 1492 Metallic Dragon Council.

History

At some point in the early 1000's, Nymmurh chose to study humans carefully by choosing a noble family of Waterdeep at random and watching them. Over time, Nymmurh began subtly interacting with the members of this family, pushing them towards good deeds, fascinated by the way humans can be persuaded to be good or evil.
In 1492, Nymuurh represented bronze dragons on the Metallic Dragon Council. Nymmurh needed no convincing from the Breadwinners to align himself with the Council of Waterdeep and acted as the adventurers's strongest supporters during the deliberations.

Mental characteristics

Morality & Philosophy

Nymmurh, in stark contrast to his fellow council members, firmly believed that humanoids were often better than dragons. He believed this because metallic dragons, as creatures of Bahamut were intrinsically drawn towards good while humanoids had no such draw, yet often still did good anyway.
This view made him all the more willing to align with the Council of Waterdeep in the Great Dragon War.
