Head Priestess Serene Tholme
Serene Tholme is the head priestess of Sune in
Amphail and the wife of general
Harmon Tholme.
History
Serene was born in 1446 in
Amphail. A devout woman from a young age, she joined the town's temple of Sune when she came of age.
In 1471, Serene married
Harmon Tholme and loved him dearly, though she found his profession to be distasteful. The two had multiple children. By 1492, Serene had become
Amphail's head priestess of Sune.
During
Salt Lake's peasant uprising, and the subsequent
Siege of Salt Lake, Serene was in the town. Rather than flee, she turned the Temple of Sune into a makeshift hospital and used her clerical abilities to heal the wounded, regardless of the fact that they were rebelling peasants. She refused her husband's request to leave, refusing to let the townsfolk die.
Following the
siege, Serene returned to
Amphail with her husband. She was angered by his command to besiege the town, though the two made up in time.
