Shadar-kai

Shadar-kai are a subset of elves that are native to the Shadowfell, having chosen to forsake their own gods for worship of the Raven Queen. Due to their worship, shadar-kai are removed from the traditional elven reincarnation cycle, and unless a shadar-kai adopts the elven gods in life, a dead shadar-kai can only reincarnate into another shadar-kai.
