Ionic Drives

The Tanitverse is very much an electric future, and ionic drive technology is easily one of the pinnacles of scientific and engineering in it. Far from a stagnant field, continued refinement of it has made it a perennial competitor with gravity technology. At their largest and most powerful, they use a compressed xenon-hydrogen mix to achieve sub-light speeds for in system travel, at their smallest, they propel all manner of personal aircraft and seacraft.
