Unrest built in the Vegan Colonial Union over the provisions of the Tangrish Agreement, which had little popular support. Increasing civil unrest and violence marred the Selection of 2680, with Kelvetio, Deymansinaya, Alamak and Wrence boycotting the Selection and refusing to unseat their Chairholders.
