Lywkaln Colony began welcoming strill colonists in the 2630s and by 2670 there were three large habitats established there. Increasingly wary of the growing Humans First sentiment in the Nenque Alliance, the colony took advantage of the political chaos in the Alliance's collapse to declare itself independent.
