Isla De Plata
Isla De Plata has a sprawling town with many small houses made of stone and wood. Through the town are large stone statues of Dwarven design.
On the hills above the town is a large palace. There are still signs of the pre-scouring palace that the new palace was built on. The palace is a mixture of stone, iron, and timber.
There is a large winding stone stair case that leads from the town up to the palace. Over the stairs are many stone archways that a known to glow in close proximity to gold and silver, likely to be an old enchantment from the original settlors of this island.
Geography
The island is a large dormant volcano surronded by large hills and cliffs. Many of the cliffs have entrances to abandoned Dwarven mines.
Despite being a tropical island, there are very few trees here. Most of the island was cleared Pre-Scouring.
There are many other islands that surrond the main island.
Climate
The climate in Isla De Plate is tropical.
History
Pre-Scouring the island was settled by a nomadic sea group of Humans. They built many of the stone structures on the island, including stone archways, the palace stairs and the palace itself (which has had significant renovations).
The Scouring wiped out the whole population of the island.
Around 50 years after the Scouring, a ship full of Humans and Dwarves, lead by the Writingham family. The Dwarves quickly discovered the silver veins within the island's volcanic rock, which gave the island much wealth.
Once the silver was all mined, most of the Dwarves left. In retaliation to this the Writingham family outlawed all Silver and Gold on the island with the reason being their version of the worship of the Unseen.
Tourism
Isla De Plata is not know for its tourism, with many if the locals coming off as being unfriendly.
