Common Dress Code

A traditional dwarven folk dress is rather simply cut, with trousers, shirt and vest or jacket for men, and skirt, blouse and bodice or dress for women. There are a number of regions were kilts are common occurrence for men. And while the cut is rather simple, the decorations are often very intricate, with different woven patterns for fabrics, large embroideries and other decorations.

Hair and beard

Hair and beards play a large part for their individuality, pride and status. By braiding and decorating their hair and beards they can express a number of things about themselves, such as preferred pronouns, relationship status, family line, etc. Traditionally, hair and beard are kept fairly long, but for the last few decades, shorter hairstyles have become more commonplace.

Tattoos

It's common tradition to mark important moments of life with a tattoo. It can be graduation, getting your first job, getting well from a serious illness or injury, getting married, etc. How the tattoo looks is up to the individual. It can be something with clear symbolism, such as a heart for getting married, or it could be something more abstract.
