Ecosystem

Tobia is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.   Tobia has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Localized Phenomena

The world of Tobia is comprised of a planet-sized city of cubical towers and spires. Hordes of workers toil on this industrial hive world. They inhabit a mass of luminous silvery-blue metal structures. All faces of the planet are covered with sprawling cities, paving, and ruins of lead and basalt, while painfully bright white luminous domes lie in the center of the city. Many of the more mercantile varieties of dark noble lords coagulate here.

History

A high-population Imperial industrial world located in the Tobia Subsector of the Trojan Reach Sector. Tobia is the subsector capital and contains both the highest population and highest tech level of any system in the subsector. Tobia controls the captive governments of Batav (Trojan_Reach 3219), Imisaa (Trojan_Reach 2916) and Cerebin (Reft 0217). World Starport (Sp) Tobia has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
