Anatomy
A bald-headed reptilian bird with a long scaled tail. It has a short crest of straight feathers that becomes part of a curled ruff around their necks. Longer feathers also cover their talons, and their wings are only partially feathered.

Hearthfinders are used as messenger birds across the Demon Realm, able to fly between two locations. This is achieved through an imprinting process - transporting the young hearthfinders between the two desired locations so both are recognized as home.
