Demon Realm

The Inner Ring Realm of the Strength Triad, known for having a deadly environment.

Geography

The Demon Realm is vast, with geography suited to the larger frame of its native denizens. Huge mountains, large deep lakes, and grasslands dominate its surface. Wide canyons have formed around the many rivers across the land. The Demon Realm lacks any oceans or extensive forests - as the local flora is primarily carnivorous and tends to be avoided by people and animals alike. It is a verdant but harsh world that caused its inhabitants to adopt a militant culture and pragmatic ruthlessness - however, it is still a beautiful wilderness with large settlements spread out from each other.

Ecosystem

Most organisms in the Demon Realm are carnivorous, or at least omnivorous, including the flora. The few herbivores are still equipped to fight the carnivorous plants they feed on, or to steal their fruit quickly enough to escape capture. While the native society has cultivated less dangerous versions of the fruit and vegetable plants for agricultural use, wild variants are dangerous to forage.

Climate

The Demon Realm is cooler in climate, but not cold - except in mountainous regions where the temperature does fall. It is stable most of the year, with intermittent freezing rainfall.
