Behaviour
Corpselions are able to collapse and produce a strong smell of decaying flesh, which gave them their name. Often, one corpselion will do so while its packmates wait in hiding nearby. When another animal comes to eat the seemingly deceased animal, it jumps up and wraps its tail around one of the prey's limbs. It then drags the prey while running, with its packmates harassing it from all sides until it either overpowers the leader or collapses.

Corpselions live in small packs, usually of one or two males to four or five females.
