Champions of Light

Champions of light were the most powerful of Light-Veined who conquered the Songlands. They founded their own dynasties, which all Light-Veined are descendent from in some form, as the great families. Due to the expansive time between the conquest and the present, the "Families" are so vast and spread-out, that they are beyond even distant relatives. Thus being of the same champion is more akin to belonging to a cultural ethnicity than an actual family.   Red Champion
