Bahtith City
Capital city of the Bahtith Conclave.
History
Citys founding
The city of Bahtith sits upon the bosom of the Sojourner River. This body of water has become not only the key highway of trade but the intersection of culture the world over. From the frigid cold of Ysdrak to the oasis town Leviathans edge, the river grants travel, shelter and comradery to those whom would not have it otherwise. For those of the steppe this became gospel. Once disparate groups of nomadic traders, performers, and mercenaries, the people of the Steppe grew to set roots upon the basins and intersections of the river. Each tribe would soon confederate and bring their own skills, talents and history’s together and thus was born the first conclave of Bahtith. It is in this first iteration a township would be born in order to better govern, and to better delegate disputes. What began as a small town of several houses of the tribes’ leaders soon grew to the jewel of the steppe. Traders and artisans would peddle their wares to the passing dignitaries, as production troupes and bards would meet to test their mettle against the greatest storytellers, performers, and writers the world over.
