Niquantin

Niquantin is situated on the shores of the Elzemaar Basin and is home to roughly 3,500 people. Niquantin is self-sufficient in terms of basic needs, with the flesh of Terrillian Blossoms harvested from within Terrill's Dome providing ample sustenance, which is often supplemented with fish caught in the basin.

In addition to fish, the people of Niquantin often retrieve large floating chunks of Spectral Crystal from the Basin. These are taken to The Grindworks, where The Grinders carve them up to use as a building material. Many of the buildings in Niquantin are made with carved up crystal blocks, painted over with white adobe, though the corners and trims of the building are often left uncovered to add a bit of colour.

Defences

Niquantin is protected by The Niquan Aegis, who are the protectors of the town and also serve its police force. Relations with other nearby towns have always been peaceful, and to date, the only external threats faced have been the occasional large beast or group of bandits.

The Grindworks

The Grindworks processes crystals retrieved from the Elzemaar Basin to produce the crystal blocks they use as their principal building material.

Various items salvaged from within the crystals are often sold at the Vibrant Markets

The Vibrant Markets

Named for the bright multi-hued brick wall that marks the outside perimeter, the Vibrant Markets is where most items are bought and sold in Niquantin.

Assets

The nearby ruin, Terrill's Dome is fully controlled by Niquantin and provides the primary food source
