Anti-Magic Guns
In dimensions with naturally occuring magic, every object and living thing contains magic. The beam of an Anti-Magic Gun destroys that natural magic. Although this does not kill living things, it destroys the spark of individuality and creativity which is the heart of magic. Sapient beings who have had their magic destroyed lose all imagination, creativity, and most complex emotions. Those who have witnessed Empirikul attacks have described it as 'soul-death'.
The damage done is irreversible, if the victim is exposed to a source of external magic.
