Benthus

An inhabited planet in the Sparta System. It is the largest producer of cobalt in the Galaxy.

The planet was historically part of the Spartax Empire. Since the fall of the Empire, it has been an independant planet.

In 2017, the Guardians of the Galaxy assisted the inhabitants of the planet in fending off an attempted invasion by the Brotherhood of the Badoon, who were seeking to conquer it in order to take control of the manufacturing.
