Planet X
X is a forrest planet, and captial of the Jatskarian Branch Worlds. It is commonly referred to as X due to the difficulty of translating Groot, with X acting as a placeholder in lieu of a direct translation of the planet's true name.
It is the homeworld of the Flora Colossi.
The planet is governed by a council of elders known as the Arbour Masters. Apart from seeding the other worlds of the Jatskar system, commonly referred to as the Branch Worlds, the Flora Colossi have little interest in the wider galaxy, and non-native species are not permitted to set foot on the any of the Branch worlds. The only sapient species to have had regular interaction with Planet X are the Xandarians, natives of the neighbouring Star System.
Geography
X is densley forrested. There is no saltwater on the planet, and no bodies of water larger than lakes.
The Flora Colossi tend the forrest as though it were a garden, and have symbiotic relationships with many of the native mamalian and insect species.
