The CIA

The Central Intelligence Agency is The United States of America's civilian foreign intelligence service. Its role is gathering and analyzing intelligence on national security threats around the world. However, it also carries out covert paramilitary opperations.

It is contraversial in the wider world, and in some factions within America, due to its involvement in human rights abuses, torture, political propaganda and disinformation, domestic wiretapping, and its admitted involvement in overthrowing governments and triggering wars in nations the U.S. is seeking to exploit. It has also been involved in funding and supplying terrorist organisations which alligned with U.S. political interests, such as the Mujahideen, and has been accused of drug trafficking.
