The Guardians of the Galaxy are hired by a group of Grunds to capture a Hhurr which has been terrorising their village.
Peter Quill refuses to kill it because it resembles a (large, angry, extremely strong) Dog. Instead, they capture it and trap it in the hold of the Quadrant, relying on Mantis to keep it calm.
They name it Woody.
