Calvin’s Bedroom

Herbert’s spare bedroom, for guests, was empty and unused for twelve years, until Herbert took in Calvin as a foster child. It took a few hours of cleaning and leaving the window open before Calvin could actually live in there. By the time of the Winter Solstice Festival Herbert adopted Calvin and he became a permanent resident with the new surname Kibblewhite.

Purpose / Function

Spare bedroom for guests.

Design

2m by 4m with a 3m ceiling height. There’s off white, almost pink, wallpaper. Floor and door are reddish dark wood. There’s plaster decorations on the ceiling with a small Tiffany ceiling lamp in the center.

Entries

There’s one door in one of the short sides of the room, with an irregular (not rectangular) shaped window opposite the door. The apartment is on the 85th floor, and there’s no fire escape outside this particular window.

Contents & Furnishings

There’s a bed, a desk, a chair and a closet in the room. The desk has a built in terminal to access the Holo-net. Since moving in Calvin has put up a holographic poster version of the cover of one of the Blast Bolton graphic novels, and several of the art design that Jamie Gilbert makes. There’s also a potted plant in the window.
