Chapter 1:

Midshipman Paolo Garcia is on Prometheus, for an anti-bullying lecture at Hercules Thompson High School in Myrtle’s Beach. Afterward, his local guide, Casper Martin, shows him around town, and the famous Lake Nuwattah-Nuwattah. While at the lake they receive Dream Invites, which they don't get the chance to decline and fall asleep. When Casper wakes up Paolo is missing.
