Semele Island

Semele is the name of both the island and the city that is built on it.

The island is slightly oblong, five kilometers east to west and three kilometers north to south, at its widest and the highest point is fifteen meters above sea level. As it’s the Capital of Dionysos the zero meridian is located there and it appears almost dead center on the planetary maps. It’s on the southern edge of the band that is The Maenads archipelago.
