Islam

Islam is the third major monotheistic religion to have came out of the Middle East. It's teachings state that Muhammad is a messenger of God, the latter they refer to as Allah. Their primary scriptures are found in the Quran (or in some cases Koran). Further teachings are called Sunnan which are made up of Hadith. These are observations, and are the traditions & practises followed by Muhammad. Most of Islam is found in the Middle East, North Africa and southern & middle Iberia at present.
