Personal history

Quinn Quicksilver, known among the ranks of the Odd Fellows as Invictus, emerged from the crucible of tragedy and adversity to become the embodiment of hope for those cast aside by society. Born into the nomadic House of Quicksilver, renowned for their uncanny prowess in slaying creatures of darkness, Quinn's early life was steeped in the legacy of his family's deeds and their unwavering convictions.   Growing up in the windswept region of Shadewind, where darkness and danger were constant companions, Quinn's upbringing was defined by rigorous training and the stern guidance of his kin. The House of Quicksilver held not only the reputation of valiant defenders but also a reputation for voicing their unyielding political beliefs, often challenging the established order.   However, fate's capricious hand dealt a devastating blow when a horde of relentless Undead engulfed the Quicksilvers during a fateful mission. The crushing weight of loss claimed his little brother, leaving Quinn to cradle his memory amidst the chaos of battle. The scars, both physical and emotional, marred Quinn's being, rendering him an outcast in the eyes of a world that mistook his pain for malevolence.   Haunted by the tragic events, Quinn retreated to heal and conceal his disfigured visage behind a mask, shielding himself from the judgmental gazes that met his disfigured countenance. Rejected by potential employers and scorned by a society clouded by misunderstanding, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery. It was during this solitary struggle that he found himself inspired by the plight of others who, like him, yearned for acceptance and purpose.   With the mask as both his shield and his symbol, Quinn took on a new identity – Invictus, the indomitable. Observing the untapped potential within those society deemed misfits and outcasts, he established the Odd Fellows – a clandestine brotherhood united by the shared experience of rejection and the desire to channel their skills for the greater good.   Guided by his own ordeal, Invictus fostered a community of individuals who, beneath their appearances, possessed untamed strengths and unyielding hearts. The Odd Fellows became a haven for those seeking to make a difference in a world that had denied them that chance. Their ranks swelled with those who wielded powers that defied convention, their shared mission woven into the very fabric of their existence.   As Quinn Quicksilver, once burdened by the scars of loss and isolation, stood at the helm of this odd fellowship, he embodied the spirit of resilience and unity that defied the odds. He had transformed his own tragedy into a beacon of hope, a testament to the enduring power of acceptance and the strength found in embracing one's true self.
