Personal history

Jethori was a warrior of the Marshhawk Tribe, known for his strength and unwavering loyalty. Life in the Marshhawk Tribe demanded resilience and bravery, qualities that Jethori possessed in abundance. He fought off predators, rival tribes, and the encroaching threats of civilization with equal ferocity.   When his friend Awena decided to seek out the new settlement formed by Alais, Jethori saw it as an opportunity to protect and support his kin in a new way. He resolved to join her, hoping to bring his strength to this burgeoning community and find a fresh start.   During their journey to the new settlement, Jethori encountered a beast unlike any he had faced before. On a moonlit night, while scouting ahead of the his group, he was attacked by a monstrous Wolf. The battle was fierce, and although Jethori managed to drive the creature away, he was left with deep, ragged wounds. As the days passed, these wounds began to heal unnaturally quickly, and strange symptoms started to manifest.   Unbeknownst to Jethori, the beast that attacked him was a lycanthrope, and he had contracted lycanthropy from the encounter. The full moon brought terrifying transformations, during which he would lose control and become a powerful, savage wolf. Terrified of what he might do to those he sought to protect, Jethori kept his condition a secret, fearing the community’s reaction if they found out.   As he settled into the new community founded by Alais, Jethori struggled with his dual nature. By day, he was the strong and capable warrior, contributing to the safety and growth of the settlement. By night, especially during the full moon, he wrestled with the beast within, taking great pains to isolate himself to prevent any harm.   His fear of discovery loomed over him like a dark cloud. Jethori knew that the community might not understand his curse, and the thought of being hunted or exiled terrified him. Despite this, he remained determined to find a way to control his transformations, hoping that the new allies and resources in this settlement might hold the key to his salvation. In the meantime, he continued to protect and support the fledgling community, all the while hiding the monstrous secret that could destroy everything he had come to care for.
