One Shot 1 - The Egg

In the bustling and vibrant Al-Azim Bazaar, Reynard receives a job offer from the mysterious collector Veridon. Tasked with retrieving a hidden stone orb located deep within the treacherous Gnollfang Desert, Reynard assembles his trusted companions, Thrain, Selene, and the spirited spirit mouse Lumos, to embark on this perilous quest.
Their journey begins with the discovery of a recently raided caravan, the gnoll attackers leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Battling against a swarm of formidable Magma Centipedes, the group showcases their skills and teamwork as they fend off the dangerous creatures.
As night falls, the team sets up camp, bracing themselves for the challenges that lie ahead. The next morning, they encounter a mysterious sight—an ancient ruin protected by a group of menacing gnolls. Intrigued by a strange black tower jutting out of the sand, the adventurers decide to venture deeper into the ruins, hoping to unveil its secrets.
Inside the ruins, the group faces a series of intricate puzzles and traps that test their intellect and resourcefulness. Will'o'Wisp and Taunting Skull guard the way, but Reynard and his companions manage to overcome these spectral challenges through cunning and bravery.
Finally, reaching the heart of the ancient complex, they discover the coveted stone orb. However, their triumph is short-lived as the ruins begin to crumble around them. Hastily escaping the collapsing structure, they emerge back into the scorching desert air, clutching the precious orb that now appears to be an egg.
Their moment of celebration is interrupted as a mighty Copper Dragon descends upon them, its rage palpable. Realizing that the stone orb is indeed a dragon egg, the group musters their strength to defend themselves against the fearsome creature. In a dramatic and intense battle, they manage to defeat the dragon, but not before the egg is exposed to the dying dragon's fiery breath, hatching into a baby dragon.
