She is not typical damsel in distress, Ireena Kolyana is a tough lady who has survived the wrath and advances of Strahd von Zarovich. She was adopted and raised by the Indirovich House in the Village of Barovia, after being lost and found in the Slavich Woods. She doesn't have any recollections of her life before being found. She has a strong will to being independent from her brother Ismark, and is worrying every time about the people of her village. She has some training in combat and has an innate ability for manipulating animals and nature. She will do anything in her power to stop Strahd's abusive reign, even if it means putting her life in death's door step.
