The Divine Architecture

The name The Proteans use for the known universe. Coming from The Nowhere as they did, the beauty of light and stars gave meaning to the floating balls of earth spread across the cosmos. 
The Proteans had the ability to manifest at will, so they never understood the concept of wanting and needing, but furthermore before the idea of light and luminescence, there was no purpose in created grand things as there was no way to see their beauty. 
The Divine Architecture changed everything for The Proteans, and that change is what lead to the creation of the mortals. 
Who created the Divine Architecture is not known, thought The Protean Pantheon did mention that they had found traces of that creator, small pieces of some grand puzzle left behind almost as if they were signing their work. 
Whether or not they found out more about that creator is unknown as The Proteans have not been seen since the Protean Exile.
