Court of Scavs: Hornet Pods
Hornet Pods are units of 6 that fly in a paired wingman formation carefully trained to fight in cluttered space environments to defend the Graveyard, disable hostile ships, and do so in a way that allows them to be scrapped for the Graveyard's use.
They tend to be highly skilled combat pilots with a sense of bravery that is enhanced by the lack of protection the Hornet's provide. Each is equipped with a Zero-G Sealed Suit with Air Recyclers to allow them to patrol for hours without running out of Oxygen. However, the risk of taking a direct hit from a ship or even just having their suit breached is a genuine threat that drives most people with a sense of self-preservation away from the units.

Tactics
Their ships seem to operate in the Hersperus Nebula with no system difficulties giving an inherent advantage when fighting on their "home turf", however Pods have been seen hired out as part of a Court of Scavs mercenary contingent. Hornet Pods tend to use their limited advantages of Stealth, Size, and Speed against larger vessels.
Their historical tactics have been to approach stealthily as close as possible. They then split into two teams when discovered. One team tends to actively engage the ship openly and fight defensively to distract and draw fire while the second team approaches, as stealthily as possible, the weapons systems. The second team will disable the weapon systems using their delayed explosive harpoons at close range (followed by prolonged fire if the weapon systems survived) while the Distraction team moves to do the same to the now vulnerable Engines. From there, the disabled ship can be destroyed or systematically disassembled at the Pod's mercy. Should a Hornet be damaged or the tactic go awry, they have also been known to attach the Hornets to the side of the assaulted vessel and manually board their target. While this tactic has proven fatally effective against Freighters and other Huge ships with a single pod able to consistently best far larger ships, it is far less so with military grade vessels of larger sizes.
