Gardner Magic Quadrant
GMQ is a broadcast network operating within The Rim, Krasian Territory, and Terran Space. They were the first true intergalactic network provider and took the market by storm. To this day, they are still treated as the standard of quality, reliable communications. Their model has not changed much as they expanded and has influenced the Network Broadcast models of even their rivals. If there is a system with a Human presence, there either is or soon will be a GMQ broadcast pylon present.

Friendly Rivalry
Acosta and GMQ seem to have good relations. They recently struck a temporary deal to permit them to share pylons in specific remote areas of the Rim.
Rivalry
It is well known that Hopper stole their model from GMQ. It is rumored that Hopper was actually an offshoot of GMQ until a division in the company years ago. It is uncommon to see them sharing Pylons in remote areas and they tend to give each other a wider berth.
