Star Forge: Hidden Shrine of Orgenous

It is thought that the recently discovered Hidden Shrine of Orgenous was sealed away before the Builders of the Star Forge's Exodus, though it is unknown as to why. The metal shafts leading to the sealed room appear to have been eaten away from the outside to reveal the warm, lit room within.   The room is now covered with eggs from the infestation only known as the “Skitters”. The current thought of modeern researchers is that they seem to have been dormant for centuries, or even possibly millennia, before continuing their gestation after the heating and oxygen matched the ideal levels for them to hatch.

Discovery

In the 2nd month of 2352, Dash Reynard and Jason of the Salter's Peppers discovered the shrine while traversing the ventilation shafts in their attempts to prevent the sabotage of the Star Forge. They were forced to flee initially, though Dash was commissioned by Supervisor Thaddeus Garrett to lead a team into the Ventilation shafts and reclaim the room, destroying the eggs within, a few days later.

Architecture

The Symbol on the wall that is recognized in certain circles as the "Symbol of Fate" has the words Orgenous scrawled above them. It seems to be arrayed almost like a Temple or Sanctuary of Worship, though the location only seeming to be accessible from the vents seems to imply that it was intended to be a hidden shrine even when built.
