TC-11 Energy Rifle

The TC-11 Energy Rifle is a very uncommon weapon to see. It was a limited run line that was nicknamed the "Bot-Killer", though its expensive cost and the manufacturer's lack of success in obtaining a government contract ended up dooming the entire product line to obscurity. While the weapon is effective against military grade shields, ships, and vehicles, the cost and incredibly low profit margin doomed the weapon and company both. The rifle is now mostly found in the odd collections or on the shoulders of mercenaries or bounty hunters with the desire for that weapon with some "unique prestige" attached to it. The rarity of the weapon line has now inflated the price even further, though finding buyers willing to pay the price outside of influential ATS collectors is growing even more difficult as the years pass.

Passive: After resolving an Attack resulting in damage against a target who possesses the Systems Skill or Stress, the Assailant makes an additional Attack using the final Damage as the bonus to their roll with the Aspect Electrical Burst. This is opposed by the Target's rolled Systems check. Upon failure, the Target will take the damage as Systems first if possible, then Mental if possible. If neither Systems or Mental Stress is available, this is taken directly as a Consequence.
