Xeno

Though there are a wide variety of Xenos that have been discovered, the classification of Xeno is the standard for describing all non-Human or Human-Derivative sentient entities. Contact with beings of this type are incredible rare and tend to end in hostility, thus humans have adopted a strategy of "strike first and ask questions later" in dealing with Xenos.
In truth, very little is known about any subsect of Xeno by Humans at this point.
