Yuka Antova

Yuka Antova was a woman rescued from the Edarft's Opportunity by the crew of the Intrepid Explorer after having spent centuries in cryostasis aboard the failed colonization mission. She quickly got off of the wrong foot with the crew, except with Rose Skytree, and was abandoned in a dumpster by Tumerian Li Shen on New Avon in New Avon Starport after they traveled through the portal.

Personal history

She grew up on Earth just outside of Dublin, Ireland. She was abused by her dad until her mom ran away with her. Soon after, her mom fell into debt with the wrong kind of people. Yuka worked it off doing side jobs for the mob, but then was upgraded to a full thief after her Mom got sick and died soon afterwards.
Yuka ended up skilled at thievery. Her gang was merged into the Russian Mob via some clever deals on her part. Her crew slowly disappeared or were killed on jobs. Her direct contact, Ursus, demanded she break into the ATS reserves and steal some new horizons salvage (in crates, she never saw what it was).
She took the chance to leave a note with the ATS stating where the goods would be for the meetup.
She dropped off the goods, almost got made by Ursus’ guys being as nervous as she was, then bolted when the ATS arrived. Ursus’ team got taken in and the salvage lost (including a Seed of Ydrissil), then Ursus set a bounty on her head.
She bounced from System to System (getting hunted, having partners/hookups killed in front of her, etc) until booking passage to the new colony on the rim to escape. That’s where she ended up on the Edarft's Opportunity.

Antova is brown-skinned, short, with uneven brown hair and brown cybernetic eyes.
