Dawn

Dawn plotted the stars in the night sky as a reminder that even in darkness his light will shine through. He drew Orima in the sky and the constellation blessed the Dawnborn with wonderous magic.
— Book of the Triumvirate, The Gifts:8-9

Dawn, son of Aeon, twin of Dusk, sits high above the firmament ushering in a new day. The sun rises on his command and brings inspiration to his children. His children gather below to worship him, to honor him, to thank him, to beg him. He has given his children the gift of magic such that they may struggle evenly with his brother's children, and yet they ask for more. He hands that burden over to his most devout and is pleased with himself. Now he can focus on what is most important...Dusk.

Dawn, son of Aeon, forged from a Cosmic Spark alongside his brother Dusk, is the god of daylight, inspiration, hope, and humanity. They are the most revered deity on the Veil, if only by virtue of his creations being the most plentiful. Dawn is the father of Humans, also known as Dawnborn. He created them to be fertile and abundant because then his progeny would rule the world.

Dawn is in a constant struggle for power with his brother Dusk, especially after the Fall of Aeon. At first Dawn and his brother got along well as did their children but as their children fractured due to the Curse of Garou, they found themselves at odds. Dawn unlike his brother did not give the humans simple access to magic, he did not imbue them with forbidden abilities, he gave them freedom and the chance to grow abundantly. However this would not be fair, for him, if the children ever came at odds. Dawn decided the humans needed an edge and so he granted some the ability to channel Ori. It would take some generations for the Oridan to be plenty but he had to start somewhere.

The Church very pointedly worships Dawn over Aeon and Dusk, even if they are an order dedicated to the Triumvirate. Dawn sees the Church as his most devout children and uses them for his will. Dawn doesn't know what happened to Aeon but does not dissuade his followers from believing that Dusk killed them. Dawn hopes to rid himself of Dusk and bring everlasting light to the Veil, even if it is disastrous for many of its denizens.
