Goddess of Life
Essence represents all life and is one of the most revered and worshiped Gods. Essence works synergistically with many other Gods from other pantheons such as Concordia and Death.
It is said that Essence, like Death, once existed as a beautiful and ageless woman, however in her immortal youth, felt she lacked an understanding of the true nature of her own domain. In order to better appreciate life - especially the life of mortals - she wished to experience death. Death granted her this as a friend, and helped her to part ways with her material form.
Essence has since existed as a transcendent, formless life-force able to exist within all expressions of life. Depiction of Essence and her symbology are varied, but most commonly she is associated with imagery of burning candles.
