The Fortunate

God of Luck

The Fortunate is the God of Luck and Good Fortune. His form is most often depicted as that of a black humanoid cat. While cats in The Veil are fairly rare, it is commonly believed that black cats are blessed by the Fortunate himself, bringing with them an aura of his good luck.
Followers of the Fortunate or those who simply feel unlucky may leave an offering of leftover food out for the stray cats, particularly in Garrigill, in the hopes that a blessed feline may cross their path. However due to the rarity of food it is often only the rich who can afford such a gesture, leading to the common belief that "The Fortunate favours the fortunate".
