The Jewelwood Forest

The Jewelwood is home to the Ironpines: a dense and tall kind of tree that features durable wood and a quick maturity rate. This boon of strong timber led to the placement of Sailgarden: a combination timber yard, shipyard, and House Castore military base.   The combination of bountiful land and river access to the Dwarven city of Stormfall led to the creation of Selgaunt. With their taking of The Dragon's Hoard of Tyralgarde the Invincible and the evacuation of the Elves to The Golden Grove, Selgaunt has become the regions economic monopower.   The forest is mostly tamed, with many groups regularly extracting resources in relative safety.
