The Withering Desert

The city of Yhaunn was often called The City of Magic. It is said that magical energy would drift off of the Sea of Fallen Stars and funnel their way into the city.
The Withering Desert seemed to pay the price for this magical boon. It is a bleak and dangerous desert, with few residents and little to offer the world. Some speculate that it was once a rich forest or sea, but few are willing to travel the desert to check for signs of water.
Most travellers that brave The Withering are explorers trying to find a new path to Yhaunn. The others are often mysterious, presumably going off on a quest of isolation.

Karhold's Way

Explorers who wish to navigate the desert will need supplies. Karhold's way acts as a friendly first stop for adventurers who want to brave the steep dunes and dessicating winds of the Withering.

Ostiark Tower

Deep in the Withering desert lies Ostiark Tower - home to a mysterious sorceror.

Tol'Veras

Selgaunt once sent military expeditions into the Withering, hoping to find anything of value. When that failed, they returned back to Tol'Veras. Today it acts as a remote outpost for adventurers and soldiers who earned the ire of a superior.
