Water Vole’s Bower

Description

A standard elven bower, although built above the water. The traditional low-stone wall has been replaced by a wooden one but the octogonal shape, with a thatch and fur roof supported by 6 wood struts remains, although the struts are also the stilts that keep the building above the water.   Rolled up furs, hanging from the roof, are pinned in summer, opening the entire bower to the outside, but unrolled and secured to the wooden wall in winter to keep heat in.   From the ceiling and various pots, pans, and arcane fetishes, intermixed with drying herbs and perserved meat.
