Althaea Runetaker is an Elven Mage, Chief Magistrix of the Ethereal Conclave and a member of the King's Council. As the head of the Ethereal Conclave, she is a rather unpopular figure among that organisation's rivals of the Periapt Society.
While considered to be one of the most talented mages in several generations, she is criticized for not holding as tight a grip on the rest of the magisters and magistrixes of the Ethereal Conclave as some of her predecessors - resulting in some of her peers becoming a bit more, and some would say too, 'loose' when it comes to the moral implications of whatever research they're considering conducting.
Nevertheless, she is a frequent sight at court and is the King's most trusted adviser when it comes to any and all matters magical (much to the woes of the Periapt Society).

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Physically relatively fit, despite a studious life, most likely owed to the fact that Althaea's research frequently takes her into ruins and other assorted old, abandoned places where one might find an adventurer.

Apparel & Accessories

Usually seen wearing dark grey robes within public settings, although these are swapped out for gear one is less likely to trip over when venturing outside of the city. Never seen without a belt holding a component pouch and a wizard's tome at the very least.
